In 2015, the RMC Club officially adopted the tri-service Hymn that was previously used by Royal Roads Military College as its official hymn. The hymn is based on the “Naval Hymn” or “Eternal Father, Strong to Save”. The verses are arranged in the traditional order of service: Navy, Army, and Air Force and concludes with a tri-service verse. All verses are sung to the tune “Melita” which has become the most famous maritime hymn in the world.
Eternal Father, strong to save, whose arm doth bind the restless wave,
Who bid’st the mighty ocean deep its own appointed limits keep;
Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee, for those in peril on the sea!
Lord who rules both hill and plain o’er which our traffic runs amain
By mountain pass or valley low; wherever, Lord, our comrades go,
Protect them by Thy guarding hand from every peril on the land.
O Ruler of the earth and sky, be with our comrades when they fly;
And keep them in Thy loving care amid the perils of the air.
Oh let our cry come unto Thee for those who fly o’er land and sea.
O gracious God of love and power, our comrades shield in danger’s hour;
From rock and tempest, fire and foe, protect them whereso’er they go,
Thus evermore shall rise to Thee, glad praise from air, land and sea.
