Canada Company

canada-company-logoCanada Company is a charitable, non-partisan organization that serves to build the bridge between business and community leaders and the Canadian Military. Our goal is to ensure that the men and women in our Canadian Armed Forces receive the widest support, care and recognition that they deserve.

About The MET Program

canada-company-met-logoMembers of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) often face obstacles in making a smooth transition to the civilian workforce after leaving the military. The Canada Company Military Employment Transition Program (MET) has been established to build and strengthen relationships between employers and the military.

Canada Company, in partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Canada, has created a “one-stop-shop” web portal for all things transition, for Regular force members leaving the military, Reservists and for Veterans who have been honourably released from the CAF. This partnership allows military friendly employers to benefit from the unique training, skills, and employment experiences of current military members, while assisting releasing military personnel and Veterans in finding meaningful employment in the private sector.

Goal: To provide a one stop portal of career/employment transition resources.

VETS Canada: Veterans Emergency Transition Services

vets-canada-logoThe VETS Canada organization was formed to reach out and help the many of Canada’s veterans who had not made successful transitions from their military careers to healthy civilian lives. Our grassroots organization has rapidly grown into an inter-provincial network of volunteers, many of whom are veterans themselves; others are serving military and RCMP who work within their respective communities to seek out homeless and at risk veterans and quickly re-establish the bond of trust that exists between soldiers.

VETS Canada’s mission is to attempt to facilitate moving the veterans in need of help from the streets or shelters into affordable housing (if available). We also connect the veterans with needed health care, help them access the benefits and services from other organizations such as Veterans Affairs Canada and the Royal Canadian Legion and support them in finding suitable employment.

Wounded Warrior

wounded-warrior-logoFounded in 2006, Wounded Warriors Canada is a non-profit organization that helps Canadian Forces members – be they full time or reservists – who have been wounded or injured in their service to Canada.

Through a wide range of programs and services, we help find solutions where gaps have left our soldiers in need. Currently, our primary focus is on mental health and, particularly, the staggering impact of PTSD, perpetrated by Operational Stress Injuries. Overall, however, our mandate is to help any Veteran in need as they transition to civilian life.

True Patriot Love

true-patriot-love-logoTrue Patriot Love honours the sacrifices of members of the Canadian Forces, Veterans and their families by:

  • Stepping in where government is unable to fund programs that support their physical, mental and social wellbeing no matter where they are posted in Canada or abroad
  • Promoting their special skills and capabilities resulting from their unique conditions of service
  • Being a conduit for everyday Canadians, corporations and philanthropists to express their appreciation and patriotism
  • True Patriot Love celebrates the selfless service of our soldiers and their families.
